End of The Monday Night Show
Sunny concrete view Coventry University the home of the life changing, world famous Monday Night Show has come to the end of its series. The show that debuted in October has been a source of inspiration and entertainment for many students and staff members at the University.
After many hours of deliberation the shows creators decided with the upcoming end of term that now was a good time to announce the end. The show had been off the air for a number of weeks because of technical problems at its home of Source Radio but had hoped to make a come back in the coming weeks.
Co-anchorman Benjamin Daniel Phillip Powell had the following statement:
“We rock”
The Monday Night Show with Pete, Ben and Chris covered many University events including interviewing the University Vice Chancellor and a special “Varsity Day” show where sports teams competing in the days activities were interviewed. Game shows such as the critically acclaimed “Feed Chris” set a new standard in entertainment.
Technical specialist Adam Brown had this comment:
“Good times had by all - Hot music and lots of passion”
Promotions officer Izy had the following comment about the show:
"A lovely bunch of guys and a great show."
It’s a sad time when the phrase “Power Pumping Passion on a Monday Night” will no longer be heard on the radio.
There is the possibility of a special show sometime in the future.
Content from the show is still available online to download. The show was recently featured in the local press
On a lighter less sad note the following picture was this years station photo. I’m in the middle on the back row.
