Everyclick - The Search Engine That Helps Charities
Submitted by Pete on Mon, 04/16/2007 - 5:55pm.Just came across www.everyclick.com its a search engine powered by ask that donates 50% of its advert income to your chosen charity. It's quite a clever idea considering the amount of money the likes of Google and Yahoo make from sponsored links on search results ($3.2 (£1.6) Billion last year).
In order to earn for a charity you need to sign up then search from the find charity's page, from here you simply select "Select this charity" then all the sponsered links you click on will generate revenue for that charity.
The website provides a range of tools including image search, news and products. I found the search results not to be as good as Google however if helping your charity is important then this may be the site for you!
