in firefox

1. click bookmarks > manage bookmarks

the bookmark manager will open

2. click file > new live bookmark

3. paste http://www.imafish.co.uk/forum/rss.php into feed location add a name as imafish.

4. drag your new live bookmark to the bookmark toolbar folder

it should then update with new links.

well people are only reading the topic titles of the thread - to read the actual message they have to click the link.

thats good because

1. they dont have to check the forum for new posts - its done automatically

2. when they click a link it goes straight to that post

3. its a good way of building up regular readership

4. for the majority of people the concept of an rss feed is too advanced so it will only be the hardcore forum viewers and the techies using the service.
