Just a mild stumble in the grand scheme of things. Tricky you see. Like last season, start bad, then become heroic in the 2nd half of the season.

I think it was the other way around with Shrewsbury, great start then, a number of molestings near the end of the season.

To be honest I dont really see Everton getting alot better, you need to get rid of Lescott coz he doesnt want to play and few others who cant coz they're wank

Jonnie

Lescott will not leave, Moyes is a man of principles, and the conduct that Man City have taken, has really pissed off Moyes and every Everton fan. He will not let Lescott leave, just to show that Everton wont be bullied again, ( look at the fat man transfer) what he said at the start of the season, "we wont sell any of our stars" is what he will stick too.

As for Saturday, what the hell is there to say, played like children and defended like apes. The Gunners played fantastic and it was a painfull but beautifull to see. I will be the first to come out and hail Everton, and equally i will admit when 11 men where viscously rapped.

(p.s can be not bothered to spell check)

Lescott doesnt want to play for you.. he told Moyes before the game he didnt wanna play in that game as he isnt focused, but Moyes played him.. and you got raped due to the fact ya defence.. well, it didnt really exist did it

None of the team want to play with Lescott as they know he dont wanna be there.. he's now the cancer of the side, and he needs removing

Moyes will be stupid not to sell him.. sell him this week for £20m, then you got rest of the window to find a replacement

It not turned into the fact Lescott wants to move to City for the cash, it has turned into Moyes Vs big money and a club wanting to buy success. If anything Moyes actions is a shinning beacon in the world of football, a game that is all but controlled by the clubs with the biggest wallet.

If anything people should be getting behind Everton, supporting and backing the model club of English football.

Exactly, you cant feild a player who doesnt want to be there, especially if he's normally the heart of your defence. Once a player decides he doesnt want to play for your team there's nothing you can do about it, morals or not they'd be stupid not to sell him and get a replacement in the remaining transfer window

Er.. the whole point of the Premiership is buying players to get you success, regardless of its 500k or £50mil

You cant have a grudge against Man City, they got the money and they're using it to get success.. Blackburn did it, Chelsea did it, Real Madrid did it, Juventus did it.. everyone does it

This is the new era of Football, where money rules all

That was me who posted that pete! :x

Anyway......

Moyes will not sell Lescott also untill he has a replacement, Jaggs is still dead till Novemeber time, and as good as Rodwell will be he not ready to play 3 months as being our main CB.

Furthmore Moyes has a hell of bargaining tool, Mr Pinapple money grabbing cunty bollocks head, has 4 years left on his contract. Also Lescott is an english international who loves being part of the english team. I can see Moyes digging his heals saying no, and then telling Lescott strart playing properlly and stop being a wanker, or spend the next four years of your life in the reserve squad. Mr Lescott wont like this as there goes his English caps, but this is best way to deal with childish money grabbers. Now get on with playing Lescott, you have 4 years at Everton wether you like or not. 8)

so you would rather Moyes stick Lescott in the reserves to rot for 4 years, thus lowering his value and allowing him to leave for nothing when his contract is up, instead of getting £25m+ for him Image

Jonnie, if City want him, Moyes has said the only way he will come to phone and listen to this shit if gets £30 Mil plus. He is no where near that value, but if City want to be stupid and distrupt our season, then they have to pay silly money.

And Yer Jonnie, 2 months of playing in the reserves when the transfer window is shut, will teach the boy a lesson.

teach him a lesson? or piss him off to the point he goes to the PFA and buys out his contract..

Player Power > Money > Manager Wishes

and to be fair, ya season cant be more disrupted

still, you can get more 4th division American players in to save the day

90% of football fans agree with principles Moyes is taking and doing. As for the vultures circling thinking what is going on is right and in anyway the values of football, then you should be ashamed of yourself.

I didnt say it was right, but its the way football has gone.. Everton need to stop living in the past

you cant deny if it was Everton who got brought instead of Man City, you would be wanking yaself silly over potential signings

I dont see what Moyes is doing is good for football..

Man City want a player, player wants to leave.. Man City make reasonable bid, Everton reject.. player says he wants to go still.. you are just pushing Man City into a corner so they spend another over the top fee on a player, which you said is whats wrong with football. Moyes should just accept and stop trying to push up the price knowing Man City will pay it

City bid for Terry 28mil, a 29 year old Defender. Has another 3 years max of world class defending left in him.

Lescott 26, he has 6 years of execellent defending left in him.

Pay the £30 mil + or go try and storm the gates of some other club.

Pay or fuck off.

Moyes is doing football good, by showing the world that money can not buy u everything, and will not sell our best assests and our soul. Im sure if your managment would of dug their heals in for Holt, you would be feeling the same. Not lying down and saying take him.

Not at all...

Simpson wanted Holt to say, chairman wanted Holt to stay, fans wanted Holt to say.. Colchester made a bid, we rejected.. Holt then admitted he would like to leave and play at a higher level.. so Simpson sold him when Norwich made a 500k bit

That is model management, not keeping a player against his will

er.. the chairman offered to buy him a house in Shrewsbury to keep him

You cannot stand in the way of a player whos wants to leave.. it'll affect the rest of the side, and then you start playing badly (or getting raped 6-1 at home)

Everton bitched when Rooney left, now they're bitching that Lescott wants to go.. that is a small club mentality
