As I'm starting to fill up my Sky+ hard drive I'm wondering if there's a way to transfer my saved programmes onto my computer?

Not really, you could hook your VCR up to it and record the programs off it
or you could upgrade the hard drive in the box to a bigger one but that's alot of hassel

I think the HD boxes have larger hard drives in.

If you took the HDD out and hooked it up to your PC the PC wouldn't read it, the HDD is paired to the unique box so even if you stuck it in another a sky ox it woldnt work. Suppose it's their way of trying to fight copyright infringement
